5 Proven Headlines For You

In the world of marketing, your first impression -- your headline -- can lead to either sales success ... or failure.
It's important to realize that headlines work best when they appeal to your reader's interests (not yours). And not only can they *grab attention*, they can also make your message easy to read, convey your main selling points, and lead your customer to a sale.

Over the years copywriting pros have used several headline formulas that always work well. Here are my fab five:
1. The Question: "Are You Worried About Your Financial Future?"
A question headline automatically gets your readers involved in your message, because they answer it in their minds. Many people will read further into your letter, ad, or Web site copy just to find out what answer or solution you provide. Again, make sure the question focuses on the reader's interest, not yours. A bad example would be: "Do You Know What New Product We've Created This Year?" (No one cares but you!)

2. The How-to: "How to Get Thinner Thighs in 30 Days."
How-to headlines work very well, because people love information that shows them how to do something. (Thousands of book titles begin with "How to....") Think of the benefits your product/service offers and then try creating some "how to" headlines.
3. The Testimonial: "Jane Smith's Consulting Is Pure Magic -- Our Sales Have Increased by 30%!"
Why not let your clients do the selling for you? Their commendations can go a long way in convincing others to use your services. Tip: To appear credible, always include your clients' full names and the cities they live in.

4. The Command: "Boost Your Business Today!"
Turn your most important benefit into a commanding headline, such as "Make More Time for Your Family," "Look Younger Instantly!" and "Get 7 New Clients This Month." (By the way, throwing a number into your headline is another good tactic. And readers seem to like odd numbers as opposed to even.)

5. The News: "Introducing Our New 'Rest-Assured' Tax Service!"
Caution: This only works if you truly have something big to announce that is of interest to the reader. (Something that will make her life or business better.) Don't try to make news out of something that's not.
Once your readers know you have something they're interested in, they'll take the time to read your entire article, brochure, letter, ad, e-zine, or Web page. So put some TLC into creating headlines that entice!

How To Build A List Of Eager Subscribers?

For the "WakeUp Millionaire" Program go to the link >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> http://tiny.cc/q2lthx

Every online business provides great service to generate satisfaction among their customers. As each and every customer receives satisfaction over their products or the services they get, there is a great chance that they will become a return customer and buy again. Better yet, they will recommend you to other people that could generate more business for you and your site.

As more traffic is driven to your site, you can entice many of them to subscribe to your mailing list or opt-in list. This is a list where in website visitors agree to be sent promotional materials such as newsletters, catalogs and such that could keep them updated about your site or the niche of your site. These promotional materials are sent via e-mail to the members of the list in different time intervals.

When using e-mail as the media of your marketing and advertisements, you eliminate the need for high costs. Email is free and if you can manage to make your own promotional advertisements you can also save a bundle there. With an opt-in subscribers list, you are pretty sure that what you are sending out is received, viewed and read by the subscribers and not simply being deleted. They have signed up for service and have consented in receiving it.

This means that there are constant reminders to your subscribers about all your products, new products and services as well as any promotions and special deals you are having. There is also the chance that they can be forwarded to other potential customers as they tell their friends and families about you and your site.
Of course you should be also aware that a subscriber may unsubscribe when they feel that they are not getting what they want or expected. Make sure that they are satisfied with your opt-in marketing strategies and keep them excited in receiving your newsletters and catalogs. Here are some tips that can help you build a list of eager subscribers.

Make your promotional materials interesting and fun. Try to use a little creativity but not too over artsy. Build around what your product or service is about. For example; if you are selling car parts, put some pictures of what is new in the auto parts world, a new wing door possibly that can fit any car and make it look like a Lamborghini.

Try to research what people are looking for, these way, you stay one step ahead of them all the time and you will be their bearer of new tidings. They will be eager to receive what you are sending them because they new you always have fresh and new things to share with them.

Write good articles that can be very informational but light at the same time. If your subscribers enjoy your articles, they will go to your site by clicking the links that you will be putting on your newsletter to read some more. You can provide articles that can connect to many people. Be diverse in your articles. Put something humorous, then put something informational, then put something that has both.

Are you wary about this because you don't like writing? No problem, there are many professional and experienced article writers that can do the job for you for minimal fees. They know what they are doing and can provide the need that you have for your newsletters, the money that you pay for your articles are going to be met by the many sign-ups and the potential profit from the sales that you will get.

Create and send an E-book to your customers about anything that is related to your business or site. Use your knowledge and expertise in the field you have chosen to help other people who are similarly interested. Offer this e-book for free. You can write about anything informational and helpful to your subscribers. For example; you can do manuals and guides in so many things. This e-book could be used as a reference for many people.

Share this e-book with everyone, even other sites; just make sure that they don't change the links in the e-book that will lead people to your site. If you want, you can always get some people to write it for you just like your articles. Your investment once again will be covered by the great marketing this will generate.

Add e-coupons in your newsletters that will help them avail to special discounts. Put a control number in your e-coupon so that they can only be used once. When people get discounts that can be found in your newsletters, they will be eager to receive your newsletter in anticipation of what you are promoting next.

If your subscribers can get benefits from your newsletters, they will be very eager to receive them. Just don't flood your mailing list with mails so that you don't annoy your subscribers.

5 Key Steps To Promoting Your Website

Promoting your website can seem like a daunting, complicated task. The truth of it is that it's not a trivial undertaking. But with some well laid plans, you can be sure that you're leaving no stone unturned and working toward the best possible results.

Step 1: Preparation

- Prepare your website for the search engines -

This is a critical phase where elements such as keyphrase selection and web page optimization come into play. Whether you have a website already or not, this is where you need to start. Your site must be prepared and optimized to ensure that when the major search engines and directories visit your site, they index it properly and favourably.

Step 2: Popularity

- Establish a network of incoming links from other sites -

It is crucial that you establish plenty of quality, relevant links to your site. This typically means approaching websites in your industry (be they indirect competitors, vendors, suppliers or directory owners) and asking for a link, or offering to exchange links. Having a strong initial link popularity greatly increases the chances that the major search engines will find you before you even let them know you're out there. During this phase you should also consider purchasing pay-for-inclusion memberships at some of the major directories. Although the costs can add up and typically need to be renewed yearly, the links that they provide are often extremely valuable.
Step 3: Broadcasting

- Let the search engines and directories know about your site -

This step is essentially web site submission. You should be submitting not only your site, but all pages within your site to the major search engines and directories. You can do this both manually and automatically (if you have the tools). Getting listed with the major players typically takes anywhere from 2 to 12 weeks. As such, you should continue this step until all your pages are indexed on all the search engines. But be careful: once a page is indexed, don't keeping submitting it to that search engine; your work there is done.

Step 4: Advertising

- Purchasing of targeted visitors across the web -

This step involves elements such as pay-per-click campaigns, newsletter ads, website ads, etc. Depending on your budget, this step can be as expensive as you choose. So long as you invest in the right programs and design your ad copy properly, you stand to make an excellent return on your investment here.

Step 5: Monitoring

- Keep an eye on your site's standings -

Often the most overlooked step, you need to be very vigilante of how your site is performing in the eyes of the search engines. Have your keyphrase rankings increased? Decreased? When? Why? Tracking and charting your progress is extremely important to measuring the effectiveness of any changes you make to your promotion campaign.

So now what?

Now that you've gone through the 5 key steps, it's time to repeat the process. Actually, once you complete a phase you should never leave it alone. You should be addressing each of these 5 steps on an on-going basis.

Optimized pages become un-optimized the moment a search engine changes its ranking algorithm; which, as any SEO specialist will tell you, happens all too often and all too randomly.

Sites will drop their link to your site without letting you know, or maybe add you and not tell you. Keep your ear to the ground on this front to ensure that you're capitalizing on any opportunities and keeping your inbound link numbers high. You can also do some optimization with your pay-for-inclusion listings, so take advantage of that.

Pay-per-click advertising is a complete science unto itself, so expect to spend plenty of time learning which keyphrases and ads works, and which don't. Freshen up your ads to grab attention if they're underperforming.

And finally, by tracking your progress you will ensure there are no surprises. Well, there are sure to be surprises, but hopefully you won't find out about them two months after the fact. Good luck!

Successful Internet Marketing = Trial and Error + Persistence

Point Click System-100% Free Turnkey System to make Multiple Streams of Income Online!
CLICK to open ----> http://bit.ly/1ORbMU9!

A few honest and successful Internet business owners will attest to the fact that they have made countless marketing mistakes. Many of them will admit that they didn't get it exactly right on the first try. However, practically all will tell you that - without the gumption to take calculated risks and the persistence to follow through - they would have never developed a truly successful online marketing campaign.

Let me encourage you to take a few calculated risks with your marketing. Extend your comfort zone, so to speak. Step out of the norm and take a leap of faith every now and then.

What am I talking about? Mainly, that most small business owners are very, VERY conservative with their marketing programs. They decide to spend a little money on ezine ads, purchase the least priced classified they can find, run it one time, get no response and quit. It doesn't work that way. Not only will that strategy fail almost every time online, it will fail offline, too.

One proven principle of marketing is: repetition breeds remembrance and remembrance breeds sales.
You may not realize this, but it takes an average of 7 times of being exposed to your product or service before the average consumer even notices that you exist. Not before they buy... before they even recognize you at all. Running one classified ad simply isn't going to help.

Because the cost of advertising can get to be a bit expensive, many small business owners cringe at the thought of spending more than they *think* they can afford. However, if your current strategy isn't giving you an acceptable ROI, it's time to change.

What's the smart and profitable thing to do? Create a campaign and be persistent with it. Strategically search out and place multiple ad runs with the same ezines. (I use ezine advertising as my example, but the same applies to offline ads, banner ads, joint venture projects, affiliate campaigns, etc.) Yes, it costs more, but consider this... would you rather continue wasting money on small one-shot ads that never produce, or save your funds and run 3 sub sponsor or top sponsor ads that bring in sales? I think the answer is obvious.

People can't buy from you if they can't find you. Advertising (in one form or another) is a must.

Run a few ads on a trial basis. Ask for recommendations from business associates and select some new ezines to purchase ad space from. Change your headline or your copy to see if one pulls better than the other.

It is only by trial and error that we learn and progress. Why? Because what works for one company, may not work for you. What works "so-so" for one company might work better for you! But in order to find out where your customers are and reach them, you have to stick your neck out once in awhile.

Will you make some mistakes along the way? Yes. Will you "lose" a little money on advertising? Probably. Will you discover a new and successful way of advertising that brings in stronger results? Almost definitely!

10 Things You Should Know Before Starting An Online Business

Point Click System-100% Free Turnkey System to make Multiple Streams of Income Online!
CLICK to open ----> http://bit.ly/1ORbMU9!

1. You will not get rich quick.

Contrary to what you read in the hyped up websites and sales copy that are trying to sell you a business opportunity of some sort, it will take time to sell your product or service. Your customers need to find you, so make sure you have a plan so that they find you. Once they are interested in your offer, make sure it is persuasive and you have credibility. Fill your pipeline, keep advertising and know that it will take time to get the sales rolling in. Once the sales start coming in continue your marketing campaign. Just like the saying goes a force in motion, remains in motion!

2. Setting up your website might be time consuming

If you have to create a website, you will have to learn html, find a web host and use templates to creat your website. To save time (but not money) you could contact a web designer to build the website for you. Otherwise get ready to learn a new skill, like I did. The good news is it to less than a week for me to learn the basics and get a website going. There are many web hosts that offer website templates. Just fill in your info. But, what are you going to say? I recommend that you write out your web design on paper or in microsoft word. Then fill in your template. Have your friends and family check it out to make sure it looks ok. Then publish and your in business.

3. Does the affiliate program provide your considering provide a free website?

Your in luck if they do. Now it is just a matter of marketing. Double check with the person in charge of your affiliate program to see if there might be a hosting fee in the future. With affiliate programs I suggest you learn about cloaking your affiliate URL. This will protect your profits. You can learn about cloaking by search the term in Google. If your an experienced webmaster ask if you can customize you affiliate website. Sometimes, depending on the program, they will not tell you about that.

4. Set a budget.

Know up front how much you are prepared to invest in your online business venture. Be prepared to lose that money if the business fails. Use money that you can afford to lose and will not affect your needs. Don't borrow money to fund your project if possible. But working online I know it will be necessary to use your credit card to get things going, but be sure to pay it back. If you have excel, setup a budget/accounting program. Don't take chances or over spend.

5. Have realistic earnings expectations.

If you learn about a fabulous business opportunity that will make you so much money... don't believe the hype. Wait until tomorrow or the next day before you make your decision about the opportunity presented to you. If your presented with the opportunity to make extremely large amounts of money follow, decide if the claim is over stated. Don't think that you can wake up in the morning in your underwear, check your email and see you have made tons of sales, like they want you to believe. Think about what your real earning potential is going to be with your new business. Ask others what they think about it.

6. Start small and make sure that this business is for you.

Find a small online business that you can start that has a product many people can use. With this new business, see how you like doing business on the internet. It's not for everybody. But if you like it and want to continue in your new found career, then invest more into your company. If you discover it was not for you, you did not lose to much.

7. Learn online marketing skills

Now when you are sure about getting serios about online marketing, you will need to improve your marketing skills. There is a lot to learn. Find out where you can market and use it to your best advantage. This includes the correct way to get listed in search engines, Google adwords, ezines and ezine advertising, email marketing and don't send spam. Learn to write articles and keep your website fresh, should help you in the search engines. Be ready to spend hours and hours learning all the techniques for online marketing. Use the easier techniques first.

8. Automate your online business.

When everything is setup and ready to go, your online busines hopefully will be automatic. When a customer comes to your website, they make their purchase, credit card processor processes it, and if it is a digital product, it's delivered automatically! Otherwise you will have just a little work to do in shipping your product, check email, and make sure everything is running smoothly. There is even a software program that can answer emails automatically. The more automated your online business is, the more free time for you.

9. Write your plan on paper and follow the plan.

You know, Im also a pilot. Before I fly an airplane, I have a flight plan and I follow the flight plan, which leads me to my destination. It works every time! You should do the same with your business. Write out a business plan, it does not have to be fancy, but write something and follow it. If you don't you will fail. Make changes or add to it later, but you must do this in writing. Refer to your plan as you move along in your business to make sure your on the right course to success.

10. Why settle for a meager 50-60% commission when you can get 100% and keep everything you earn on the product you sell.
This is called Royalty-free.

7 Tips for Better Communication on email

Working for yourself is a little different than working for a company. You can't rely on HR to take care of the details. You're not going to run into someone in the break room where you can say, "Hey did you get my email?" You have limited chances to communicate with your clients and collaborators, so you want to be as clear as possible. Here are some tips on proper email protocol that will help foster your business relationships and help people to remember you as an exceptional communicator!

1. Read the other person's email several times before writing your reply. Sometimes in our hurry to get things done, we glaze over important details and miss the message. Are you asking questions that someone already took their precious time to answer the first time around? Did you MISS their questions that require a response? Slow down, take your time, be thorough! Your clients will be glad for the specialized attention and great service.

2. Always include contact information at the end of your email. Even if you've talked to this person a thousand times before, they'll always appreciate easy access to your full company name, email address, phone and fax number. You want referrals, right? Think of how simple it will be for them to pass along your info to a new customer if it's right before their eyes!

3. Never assume that someone doesn't know something. Sure, you're a storehouse of handy information, but it's a little arrogant to assume that no one else on the planet knows what you know. If you want to offer an impromptu tutorial, great. But do tack on a friendly intro such as: "Maybe you already know this but," or "Ever try such-and-such?" If they haven't, they can say, "No... but thanks for the new ideas!" If they have, they can respond with an enthusiastic, "Yes I have, and I love it!"

4. Always let your colleague know that you've received an important message, and inform them of when you intend to respond. Example: "Thanks for sending the contract; I'll look it over this weekend and get back to you by Monday evening at the latest." Even if you're incredibly busy and not sure exactly when you'll be ready with an answer, don't leave anyone hanging indefinitely. For all they know, you never got the email!

5. Include the original transcript along with your reply. Imagine getting an email from your client out of the blue that says: "Yes, I totally agree"--and nothing more. HUH? Avoid the confusion of a delayed and incomplete reply. Instead, leave the original remarks in so you can trail the path of communication! If the conversation is lengthy, you may want to copy a snippet from their email, add a response of your own in a different font or color, copy another snippet, so on and so forth. This ensures that you won't miss any questions or remarks that require further comments.

6. Utilize your subjectline. The subjectline is there as a handy reference, so be consistent. Let's say you're sending a draft of web copy. Choose a naming convention, such as: Web Copy Draft 1, and stick with it. Your next draft should be named, Web Copy Draft 2 using the exact same punctuation and capitalization. Why? Because you'll be able to sort your emails later on and extract what you need when you need it.

7. Know when the conversation is over. We're all busy, so as much as you want to be attentive to your client's needs, you don't want to pester them incessently, either. Suppose you've already had five or six email back-and-forths. All relevant points have been made and you're dwindling down to "Thanks alot" - your cue that This Conversation is Ending. If they say, "OK, thanks-- I'll be in touch," don't reply with "Great! When?" Just let it go until next time.

Email is a handy tool that can make or break your professional relationships. Use it to your advantage with clear and concise correspondence. If you do, you'll be sure that clients and colleagues alike will regard you as an excellent communicator!

Public Domain Riches Revealed

Have you ever looked all over the house for an item and then when you finally found it the item was right under your nose all along?

If you have ever wanted to market a product or to make money selling information products, without losing your savings or spending thousands of dollars, then public domain might be the answer to your prayers.

It's everywhere you look but do you know what to look for? Everyday you and thousands of others come across public domain information and products without even knowing it.
Striking it rich on your first attempt using public domain is un-likely however let me give you a couple of examples of well-known people who have built financial empires using public domain.

Walt Disney - Do you think all of those cute little characters that made him rich were from his own brilliant mind? Not a chance.
Uncle Walts' early day fortune was created after he discovered the Grimm Fairy Tales, that were loved by so many, had fallen into public domain.
Other than making a few changes and updating the characters along with some of their names he basically copied them and made billions of dollars in the process.

Television media mogul Ted Turner created "Turner Classic Movies" known as 'TCM' was basically public domain tv because most all of the movies broadcast were in the public domain.
People's love for classic movies brought them to his TV network while also making Ted a fortune selling advertising.

These two cases might be extreme examples however they are proof positive that public domain profits and fortunes are available for the taking.
There is little doubt that thousands of examples from regular everyday people like you, and even some large companies, would fill volumes with their success stories of public domain profits.
So, what exactly is public domain and how do you know if something falls within your rights to use it?

The precise answer requires more space than this introductory article however here is a basic and general overview.

Public domain is most often referred to anything that does not fall under copyright laws including works that are not eligible for copyright or where copyright has expired.
You may only use the works of another once it becomes public domain, without obtaining permission of the original copyright holder.

Below are examples of just some of the works in public domain you might have seen or come across before without even knowing it.
Posters, books, reports, photographs, movies, tv programs, audio recordings, music, plays, manuals, courses of many kinds and much more!
So what are the benefits of you using public domain information, or works, to create your own products?

Here are a few ideas to get your mind racing.
* Low start up cost
* Eliminate paying royalties to others
* Quickly test a market's viability without a large investment
* Save money testing a market before further development
* Low investment of time - time is money
* You keep 100% of the profits!
* No copyright fees
* Thousands of works already exist you can use starting today
* Prior success of works usually is an indicator of future success i.e.: Grimm Fairy Tales!
As you can see the possibilities of using public domain for profits are limited only by your imagination.
The question should not be "can I start a profitable business using public domain?" but rather..
Are YOU prepared to do so?

Start Making Money - From Home!

Point Click System-100% Free Turnkey System to make Multiple Streams of Income Online!
CLICK to open ----> http://bit.ly/1ORbMU9!

One of the most exciting things you will be able to do in life is figure out a way to branch out onto your own, as far as things go with making money and generating income in your own time; of course, this is something that a lot of people have a desire to do (after all, most people are not especially fond of the job at which they work - investing far more time than they would like to invest, all while making less money than they would like to make ), but most people fail to realize just how easy it can be to start toward success in this area. If you have been looking into ways to start making money from home, here are some things you will need to know in order to get started toward success!

1) It's all about the system: One of the most important things to do is to make sure you find a system that is going to work well for you; there are a lot of different systems out there for making money on your own, and not all of them are right for every individual - so before you simply jump into a system that has worked for others, take the time to look into it a bit more deeply, and make sure you feel confident this system will work well for you.

2) It does require work: One of the biggest mistakes people tend to make when trying to generate income on their own is assuming that they will be able to simply invest 30 minutes or an hour getting things set up, and will then be able to kick back, relax, and watch the money roll in; of course, if things were this easy, everyone would be doing it, so you need to realize that you are going to have to put in some work before you can reach a place where you are actually bringing in income with your online efforts.

3) It may require patience: Finally, be aware of the fact that while some people are able to begin generating big money in a short amount of time online, this is generally the exception, rather than the rule; for most people, it takes a while before things start to really take off - but the more time you continue to invest in this area, the closer you will come to that success you are trying to reach, so keep working, keep having patience, and keep expecting that success to come!

If you are wanting to make money on your own, it is time for you to come to the realization that this can be more than just a dream; it can, in fact, be a viable possibility - as long as you are finding the right system for you, and are taking the right approach!

List down the names of your competitors in your chosen industry and take a close look on how they promote their companies and brands on the web. Take note of the affiliate marketing programs they are using, including the advertising schemes or any online offers they are bidding to consumers. Observe whether your competitors are implementing social media marketing and take the full advantage of YouTube, MySpace, Facebook or Twitter in promoting their company.

Create Your Website
Build a website that you can utilize for marketing and promoting your company and your brand. Before constructing a website that would represent your company to the web, it is essential that you pay heed to the effective strategies of your competitors. However, do not copy the web design of your competitors as it will not help differentiate yourself in the market. Keep in mind that uniqueness is important in creating a sound brand on the web. Pay close attention to the attributes of websites that you like. Moreover, evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of your competitor's website. Consider adopting their strengths of their web design and resolve the weak points of their design to come up with an outstanding website.
Develop A Marketing Strategy
Evaluate your list of strengths and weaknesses that you have identified in other websites. From this list, develop a marketing strategy that will promote your company or products. Let your target market know who you are, what you can offer to them and how will they benefit from your company. Consider implementing web marketing options such as building traffic, linking in forums and online communities, using keywords on your website, providing informative articles, creating online tutorials in video format or publishing a blog, where you can easily reach out and interact with your target clients. Employ the marketing strategy you know best suits your business needs.

Monitor and Analyze Progress
It is not enough that you plan and execute your marketing strategy. It is crucial that you monitor and analyze the progress of the implementation of your online marketing strategy to see whether it is really working for your business. Know where your website traffic originates and know whether this traffic comes from the links you have created across the web. The more quality traffic your website gets, the higher the chance your website will appear on the first page of search engines.
